 In almost every story about overcoming tough times, light is used as a metaphor for hope. “That’s our message, to be the light,” Nate Trammel explains of his band’s mission. His usually loud and outgoing bandmates fall silent as Trammel continues, “There’s so much darkness and hurt these days that it seems easier to conform with the darkness than it is to go against it.” Ben Malson adds, “As a band, it’s important for us to make people feel loved and give them hope.”
   Together, Trammel (drums) and Malson (keyboard), along with Adolph Goetz (guitar) and Mark Brad (vocals, guitar) form the band Telehope. Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, Telehope has been making music and spreading positivity for nearly a year.
